Service Description

Total Communication Support for Schools and Colleges I provide specialist speech and language therapy advice, communication audits and practical support to help pre-school settings, schools and colleges create inclusive, communication-friendly environments for children and young people with additional communication needs. The service considers all forms of communication, including speech, gestures, facial expressions, written language, symbols, communication boards and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. The aim is to identify communication barriers and develop practical strategies that enable every learner to express themselves, participate and communicate effectively.
