I set up Lancashire Speech Therapy to provide clinical speech and language services to both adults and kids. Alongside my professional qualifications in Speech and Language Therapy, I am qualified in a range of approaches including registration as a Hanen Clinician (Language Delay). I love being a speech and language therapist but was not always one, before this I was a registered nurse and worked in forensic psychology. I have qualifications in nursing, an MSc. Forensic Psychology, MSc. Speech and Languge Therapy, counselling, CBT, makaton and British Sign Language. When not running my clinic, I am the CEO of Speech Apraxia UK. This is a global organisation specialising in speech apraxia, a rare speech condition.

If you are facing financial difficulties, please do still get in contact and we can discuss options (such as remote therapy, use of apps/programmes to reduce direct SLT costs, 30 minute therapy sessions, etc.) I know having speech and language needs can significantly impact finances, and I believe you should still be able to access support where you need it.

Half or full day sessions at care homes for multiple clients: cost on request.
